Dashboard UTeM

The UTeM Main Display was developed as a strategic initiative to strengthen the university’s implementation of the AEMAS Sustainable Energy Management System (SEMS) and support the aspirations of the UTeM Smart Sustainable Blueprint 2025. This platform was designed to meet the needs of data-driven energy management and enhance the transparency of sustainability information across the campus.

Renewable Energy

Renewable energy is energy derived from natural sources such as sunlight, water, and organic materials. At UTeM, the use of clean energy supports efforts to improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and develop a sustainable campus. Its main categories include solar energy, bioenergy, and hydropower.

Solar Panel Installation

The installation of photovoltaic (PV) solar panels at UTeM is one of the university’s leading energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, implemented under the UTeM Smart Sustainable Blueprint 2025. This initiative aims to reduce dependence on the main electricity grid, lower utility operating costs, and support the university’s goals of achieving a Low Carbon Campus by 2030 and Carbon Neutrality by 2050.

Bio-energy

Bioenergy is a form of renewable energy produced from organic materials such as agricultural waste, plants, and food waste. Its use can reduce dependence on fossil fuels and support energy sustainability at UTeM.
